Sierra Vista, AZ - Back at the beginning of the summer, Neil & one of his guitar players, Stone Michaels, decided to take a small road trip around Southern Arizona to venues in communities they had said they wanted to play. One of the communities they stopped in was Sierra Vista. In Sierra Vista is the hot spot, Dillon's. This club has a tremendous following within the community and those that live there come to this fine establishment to unwind. Armed with his originals, Neil dropped off his CD and was almost immediately contacted by the management. While they were quite happy with the music, Dillon's was unhappy that they would not be able to bring Neil and the gang out until October. That was until last week when a weekend freed up and allowed the management to offer Neil a weekend to play in August.

Neil will be playing at Dillon's the weekend of August 20th and 21st. Each night the show begins at 8pm. This is the first of 2 confirmed weekends that Neil and his band will be playing and more dates are being discussed as of the posting of this news story. We do hope to see all of the US Military personnel in this community out as well as the country music lovers of Sierra Vista at these shows. Neil and his boys are ready, the question is, Sierra Vista, are you?

Tucson, AZ - We have some great news to share today. Neil was asked this week if he would be interested in participating in the Southern Arizona Motorcycle Rally to be held on September 25th, 2010. This event is being put on by America's Defenders (http://www.americasdefenders.org). Details of everything are still being worked out but we did want to let everyone know about this fantastic news. Tucson, AZ - Any musician that is out to create their own identity and play original music is always wanting to have their music exposed to as many people as possible. Not many have the opportunity to receive that exposure. Former GAC-TV video host and now host of the national syndicated "Conman Radio Show",  Chris Conn gives unsigned bands/artists some national exposure on his radio show. But not just anybody. Chris does have guidelines he has set for the music to be played, but for those that are lucky enough to be recognized, it is a welcomed hand in reaching the Country Music fan. Neil was so blessed this past Friday to be featured during this segment. Chris notified Neil after the airing of the segment, but the expeditious manner in which Chris played Neil's music, Neil is not complaining.  

"Good To Be Loved By You" and "Mud" were the 2 songs that were featured during the Bar Bands & Basement Tapes of The Conman Radio Show. Chris's radio program is broadcasted in over 100 cities nationwide. "Great job, great songs and great voice" said Chris to Neil via email. Neil's music has been added to the Best of Bar Bands & Basement Tapes and will be featured again at some point in the future. For someone with Chris's experience in music, this is truly an honor for Neil. More and more good things are coming out of the hard work Neil is putting into his music.
